TRIBAL SERIES (on-going)

These abstract photographs are a recent exploration that has evolved from my initial discovery of abstract photography in 2013. The spherical shapes and other elements in these images have been speaking to me with a different, deeper spiritual connection. Although I didn’t set out to create tribal art, as I’ve contemplated what they meant to me, I’ve interpreted similarities in the shapes and colors to those of African and Native American tribal spirituality and rituals. As in other series, I create these photos in-camera with a digital camera, not created as computer art or with chemical processes. These are just a few of many that I have created thus far in this on-going exploration. Read my blog post about them here →
